It could also use a wave sequence by using a certain order of waveforms to generate many types of patterns. Each of those oscs could use various waveforms from its onboard collection of sounds. You were able to use its joystick to mix between four oscillators.
It used a vector synthesis system and was able to shift between different waveforms. The Korg Wavestation was released in 1990. Before I start, I just want to give you some background on the synthesizer that was really a prequel (of sorts) to Korg’s wavestate native. Here we’ll be taking a look at another recently released synth plugin called wavestate native.
